It seems that the summer travel chaos is never ending – airport security lines, lengthy check-in process at the counters, delayed or, even worse, cancelled flights and lost baggage that you may never see again (hope you packed all your essentials in your carry-on!).

Relaxing check-in experience
Have you seen the check-in lines at just about any airport this summer? This is just an additional layer of stress you don’t want to endure before even proceeding through the security! By flying business class you can avoid the long queues and proceed straight to the priority check-in desks.
The priority check-in area is often located in (somewhat) calmer part of the airport, trying to isolate you from the stress as much as possible and providing you with a more pleasant experience before you even board the plane. Once checked in, you are off to the fast track security area skipping the dreaded queues we all have seen on the news recently.
The lounge (which is absolutely worth it!)
This is perhaps one of the more well-known amenities of a business class experience, but also one of the most valuable ones. While waiting for the boarding time or a connection, you can enjoy the business lounge, which again removes you (at least somewhat) from the anxieties associated with waiting in a crowded area just by the gate.
It certainly depends on the airline and the particular airport, but in the lounge you get to enjoy food and drinks in a calm atmosphere. Some lounges even offer shower and sleeping room facilities in case you have some time before your connection or you just want to rest before a longer flight. If you want to catch up with a friend or a colleague, you can do so in the privacy of a meeting room or a workstation section of the lounge. Of course – all that, while enjoying complimentary Wi-Fi!
Baggage allowance and the priority tag
Wouldn’t it be nice to always be able to pack all that extra sunscreen or a gift for a friend? If you fly business, you certainly can! While exact policies vary by airline, business class customers always get extra baggage allowance – it applies both to checked-in bags and also carry-on items.
Another important consideration is the priority bag tag – this will ensure that your valuables are fast tracked along the way and your items will be the first to arrive in the baggage claim area at your destination. This could also be immensely helpful when you have a tight connection to make along the way, minimizing the chances that your bag just “doesn’t make the connection”.
Be the first off the aircraft
First and business class passengers are the first ones to leave the plane. While this may seem trivial, it can actually save you a lot of time if you can make it quickly to the immigration services (if applicable in your case) and baggage claim. While most other passengers will still be queuing in line to get their documents checked, you will already be enjoying what your destination has to offer!
